Romanian banks have borrowed EBRD's entire 80 million Euro EEFF loan fund for Romania, as follows:
- 30 MEUR to BCR - who still has EEFF funding available for its clients
- 20 MEUR to BRD - who has loaned its entire EEFF fund to its clients
- 5 MEUR to CEC Bank - who has already loaned most of its fund to its clients
- 5 MEUR to Banca Transilvania - who has already loaned most of its EEFF fund to its clients
- 5 MEUR to OTP Bank - who still has EEFF funding available for its clients
- 15 MEUR to Raiffeisen Bank - who still has EEFF funding available for its clients
So far, EEFF sub-loans for 83 energy efficiency investment projects with a combined value of 59.5 million Euro have been granted by participating banks, based on studies prepared by Tractebel Engineering through the EU EBRD Energy Efficiency Finance Facility.
